Cynthia Stephens started creating fused glass in 2008 by taking a class at Stained Glass of Marin in Novato CA. She had always had a creative side, so glass art gave her that outlet. Soon she just loved the sound of scoring and breaking of the glass pieces, putting different colors and patterns together to make gifts for people she knew. She wanted to create Cheese and Pate knives to go with beautiful platters and thought a set would sell better. The reason she decided to buy her own kiln and perfect this process over many years and produce the knives was to provide medical care for her diabetic dog named Gucci. He was able to live almost eight years diabetic into his senior years. He is the mascot of Cynthia's Molds and Things. After years of perfecting the process and selling her knives she wanted to share this knowledge with all Glass artists so you can create your own beautiful pieces of art.
